Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-05-21
Your data belongs to you
Everything you save in Bookmark Minder — your URLs, titles, notes, tags, and collections — is yours. We do not claim any rights to your content. You can export it at any time and delete your account at any time, no questions asked.
What we provide
Bookmark Minder is a personal link-management tool. We provide the software and infrastructure to save, organize, and retrieve your bookmarks. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, but we target 99.9% availability and publish our status at bookmarkminder.com/status.
Acceptable use
You may use Bookmark Minder for personal and professional link management. You may not:
- Use the service to store or distribute illegal content.
- Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security controls.
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-export other users' data.
- Resell or redistribute the service.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, after attempting to contact you first when the situation is not an emergency.
Free tier limits
Free accounts are limited to 500 bookmarks, 20 collections, and 50 tags. Paid plans remove these limits. We will notify you before reducing free-tier limits on existing accounts, giving you at least 90 days to export or upgrade.
Payments and refunds
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid period. We offer a pro-rated refund within 14 days of any payment if you are not satisfied — contact us at [email protected].
Limitation of liability
Bookmark Minder is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We strongly recommend keeping your own backup of important bookmarks. Our daily backup procedure protects against infrastructure failures, but not against accidental deletion by you.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the new terms, you may close your account and export your data before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Georgia.
